Pharmacy domains registering tips

Last couple of months we have been reading forum topics and blog posts about the problems/issues with pharmacy domains. Several domains of our affiliates were also suspended by domain registrars. It’s not hard to imagine how does it feel for an affiliate when a domain that is making you money gets suspended. To avoid this, please follow the following rules:

Avoid registrars who block domains for any reason or no reason (it’s easy to find the list of such registrars on any webmaster forum);
Never use “drug” or “pharma” keywords if you are not sure how reliable it is. The use of trademarks of well-known brands like Viagra, Cialis or Levitra is the first reason to suspend your domain, as these names are the subject of Trademark disputes;
Feel free to use “health”, “care”, “med”, “pill”, “tab” and similar keywords.

New default prices have been set

Last couple of weeks we were analyzing our prices for the top-selling products (Viagra, Cialis and Levitra). We made a lot of tests with different prices and finally, we figured it out! We implemented it as the default RRP (Recommended Retail Price) for all new online pharmacy stores. The new prices maximize CPV (Cost Per Visit) much better, than ever before. You can check them out at any of our public pharmacy stores, e.g. Thebigmeds.com.

You might be complaining that the new prices are a little bit higher, especially for small packs, but our tests have shown that your conversion ratio stays almost the same while the profit you get from each sale increased 10-30%. As we give opportunity to run a flexible pricing policy, only the default prices have changed, and you are free to set your own prices as long as they are higher than the minimum value that is allowed.

We love to surprise you with extras: we are calculating several ready-made pricing sets, which will be available to anyone who needs it (we will post a special announcement here upon release). Should you update your pharmacy store to the new prices, please login to the back office and click the Reset button in Stores: Prices menu.
